Ban Mai 鲜带子

Bàn Mai

Bàn mai, hay còn gọi là sò mai, là một loài sò biển có vỏ dày và cứng, nổi bật với hình dạng tròn đặc trưng giống như chiếc bàn cờ. Loài sò này sinh sống chủ yếu ở các vùng biển cát và bùn, thường gặp ở châu Á, đặc biệt là các vùng biển của Việt Nam, Nhật Bản và Trung Quốc.
Trong ẩm thực, con bàn mai được đánh giá cao vì thịt của nó rất ngon và có độ giòn sần sật. Sò bàn mai thường được chế biến thành nhiều món ăn khác nhau như nướng, hấp, xào với các loại rau củ hoặc sử dụng trong các món lẩu. Một trong những món ăn phổ biến là sò mai nướng mỡ hành, với phần thịt của sò được nướng cùng với mỡ hành và gia vị, tạo nên hương vị thơm ngon, hấp dẫn.
